Mikhail Antonio could be forced to quit football after a car accident left him with severe leg damage

The ยูฟ่าเบท reports that Mikhail Antonio’s recovery prospects have been revealed. After the West Ham star was involved in a car accident over the weekend. With West Ham confirming in a statement on Saturday that the 34-year-old has suffered a lower leg injury.

The crash is believed to have happened in the Essex area. With local police appealing for dashcam footage as officers investigate the serious crash.

The Ferrari was found to have sustained severe damage to the front right side. After the accident, the player was found trapped for more than 45 minutes. West Ham have since revealed the extent of Antonio’s injury, with ufabet journalist Jim White revealing the length of his recovery after the Hammers forward suffered a leg injury.

“He has now sustained severe damage to one of his legs and is expected to undergo a lengthy recovery period. It will take at least 12 months before we know whether he will be able to play football again.”

“Someone told me this morning that Mikhail is a fighter. He’s in very good physical shape because he’s a top-level footballer, and that might help him and maybe give him a little bit of an advantage when it comes to recovery.”

While The Guardian claims the player could be out for at least a year before returning to action. 

The report also said there were concerns the player could be forced to ‘quit football’ due to his injury.

For Antonio, the Jamaican international joined West Ham from Nottingham Forest in 2015 and has scored 68 goals in 268 league appearances for the club.
