‘Bruno’ nudges the Red Devils, Premier League is still important

Bruno Fernandes admitted Manchester United cannot focus solely on the Europa League final after their 2-0 defeat at home to West Ham United on Sunday. The Red Devils

conceded twice through Tomas Soucek and Jarrod Bowen to suffer their 17th Premier League defeat of the season. The defeat

came less than 72 hours after their 4-1 Europa League semi-final win at Athletic Bilbao, and they will face Tottenham Hotspur in the final next week. However, United are without a win in their last seven league games, with just

two games left – at Chelsea and Aston Villa – and Fernandes said every point from now on was crucial.

“It’s difficult to explain, everyone wants to score goals but it’s not our year in terms of scoring goals. We have to improve on that, we have to play better. “We have to be more aggressive,” he told เล่น UFABET ผ่านมือถือ สะดวกทุกที่ ทุกเวลา Sports.

“There are two games left in the league, we can’t just focus on the final. Every game we give 100 per cent, any points we get from this will mean everything.”

The defeat to West Ham was also United’s ninth home defeat in the league this season and they have won just three of their last five home league games since Ruben Amorim took over in mid-November (Everton, Southampton and Ipswich).
