Manchester United have agreed a fee with Bayern Munich for centre-back Matthijs de Ligt and right-back Noussair Mazraoui. With the pair worth a combined £60.1m (€70m) football

According to The Athletic, United had their offer rejected once. But made another offer, and eventually the Bavarians gave in and decided to use the friendly match against Spurs in London to settle the deal.UFABET 

De Ligt’s transfer fee is guaranteed at £38.6m (around €45m). And can increase by another £4.3m (around €5m) depending on performance/achievement conditions. 

The Dutch player will sign a five-year contract with the option of a further year. 

Mazraoui is guaranteed a fee of £12.9m (€15m) and can add £4.3m (€5m) in options as well. His contract is a standard  five-year deal with the option of a further year. 

It is expect that a physical examination will be performed next week in preparation for the official announcement. 

Meanwhile, Manchester United have agreed to sell right-back Aaron Wan – Bissaka to West Ham for £15m. With a medical scheduled for Sunday or Monday.

With United having had two bids for Everton’s England international Jarrad Branthwaite turned down this summer. De Ligt is an alternative centre-back reinforcement.

De Ligt is considered a cheaper option and has more experience, while Everton stuck to their £70m valuation.
