Shaw admits Manchester United are not good enough to win the Premier League.
Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw has admitted his side are doing poorly. And not good enough to win the Premier League this season, according to reports from UFABET.
The Red Devils only managed to draw with Burnley at the bottom of the table unfortunately with a score of 1-1 and before that they were eliminated in the fourth round of the FA Cup at the hands of Manchester United. Middlesbrough, the team from The Championship has arrived.
Shaw, speaking on talkSPORT , admitted United were not performing well this year and did not deserve to compete for the Premier League with other giants.
“This season it was clear we weren’t doing well enough. I think where we want to be and where we are now is obviously different. Of course we were very disappointed to get kicked out in the FA Cup, it was a game we thought we could have won.
“The position in the league right now is not the position we want. And we certainly didn’t deserve it considering the outcome. Our results have been up and down, which is not good enough for a team that wants to win trophies.”
“If you look at the top teams and their consistency. They are at a high level all the time. and can keep winning consistently We can’t do that. But it is something that we are looking for and trying to improve and continue to develop,” said Luke Shaw .
