Southampton boss reveals he hasn’t forgotten last year 9-0 defeat to Manchester United

Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl insists he will not forget the 9-0 defeat to Manchester United last season. Before the pair meet in the Premier League this Saturday, according to reports from UFABET

The Red Devils had an overwhelming 9-0 home win over Saints in February last year, with Hasenhuttl giving an interview after the game that “It’s very bad. But we were able to stand up after losing 9-0 the first time (lost to Leicester City in 2019) and this time we have to do it again.

For the Premier League game on Saturday, Southampton will return to visit Manchester United at Old Trafford again, marking a full year since the game. The headmaster of The Saint had mentioned about this meeting that

“Right now we’re just tired. We have had excellent results from games against Manchester City (1-1 draw) and Tottenham Hotspur (W3-2) and we are unbeaten. It’s a wonderful thing.”

“We know we have to perform the same on the coming Saturday, they [Man Utd] have 24 hours more rest than us, that’s even more difficult.”

“But we’ve lost 9-0 last season. I will never forget this,” Hasenhutter said.
